Ya, I have took? thineself to ye Canadian Tire shop and they couldnt even do an alignment till i replace the bj's, and my tie rod squeaked for about a week during cold steering but now its gone, so is the squeak in my bj (im guessing its the bj squeaking over dips and bumps), so now that has stopped and the shake came back, weird how i give up the squeak for the shake and vice versa, im just saving up so i can do all the parts at once, but the shake is scary, i ill go to a shop, thanks for helpin

do all these tests of course, but if you can't find any worn parts, get thee to a good front end? repair shop. Most give free estimates and they can find the problem, such as bad alignment, worn tires, or worn cv axles. MANY things can cause that.

I have a 5 spd ...
I have a 5 spd Honda... around 2900 rpm while cruising in 5th i get a horribly scary wobble throughout the vehicle, also under heavy acceleration in every gear above 3rd, never in 1st or 2nd I dont wanna throw parts at it without knowing why this dangerous? wobble occurs, its a recent thing..

my sisters 2002 for taurus has a noise that sounds like something is loose in the front suspension, the only thing i could find was that the driver side axle boot is torn and seems to have play, the other supports seems to be? fine, should i replace the whole axle?

prices are? all over the place, but here in texas we get chinese made axle assemblies for as little at 50 bucks brand new. Takes less than an hour to replace most of em.

as long as a car is structurally sound is passes those tests. But neons are throw away cars, and make noises from just about every part as they age, such? as a frame bushings and ball joints wearing.

tons of things can do that, do the tests in this video, and try to find what has play in it. If? you can't, it's a loaded susp problem, pay a front end mechanic to at least analyze it.

Scotty, on the? 2002 dodge neon i just fixed the backfiring. It now has a clunking noise , i know its suspension related, the person told me who owns it, it has both lower control arms an the front struts replace. what is or could be the problem? please let me know. thank u for ur time. Kody

Thanks for the reply Scotty. The reassurance is good. You are right about pot holes because I can jump almost 1ft right to left cornering at 40mph if I hit one. Can be pretty annoying in Troy NY (pot hole capital). I'm going to try to get a "grease-able" bushing in the future. Wish more? things were grease-able nowadays. It can really make a difference keeping joints lubed every 5k miles. Mine are probably bad from 121k miles + river crossings (2003 Tacoma).

I've had? people drive em years with worn bushings, they just don't corner fast and try to avoid giant pot holes

of course tires can adversely effect suspension, cause the number one shock absorber on the? car is the tires, they flex a lot and take lots of energy that way. Even more than the shock absorbers.

Hey Scotty, I was wondering if you could give me some advice on a question I have. If I may, I was wondering if tubeless tires affect suspension and schock obsorbers' performance? I just got a car recently and whenever there is a bump on the road, my car takes major hits.? Even my stereo turns off. I'm not sure about the suspension yet, though.
